After the first leg of our day's field explorations at the Stickney Wastewater Treatment Plant of the MWRD, we convened for a picnic and a woodland hike at the Chicago Portage National Historic Site in Lyons, IL. Here we gather around the statue of Marquette and Jolliet to each lunch.
